Signalling the beginning of the Big Three holidays - Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween - there is no denying that, for many people, October is the starting line for the long sprint to the New Year. Regardless of your personal ranking of the holidays, however, October is here and so is trick-or-treating, costumes, horror movies, and Halloween parties. If you're looking for something unique to do for Halloween that involves the important aspects of Halloween such as costumes, candy, food, and alcohol, then look no further than the Monster Batch Cocktails and Costume Party upcoming at The Sapphire Room. This event will feature unique candy themed Batch Cocktails created by local liquor, beer and wine retailer, Micky Finn's and catering by Notch 8 Catering as well as a photo booth by SavvySnaps. As of now, The Sapphire Room is playing coy about what specific drink ingredients will be. However, recent social media posts have hinted some drinks will have "raspberry and Snickers vibes," "Sour candy explosion," and "caramel apple pie magic." Notch 8 Catering is providing the snacks for the Nacho Nightmare Bar - "a cauldron of chips, cheese, and spine-tingling toppings" as well as "the Witch's Caramel Cauldron, where you'll dip, swirl, and brew your own Caramel apple creations."
