May 9 is quickly approaching and that means the 16th annual Bone-E-Fit is almost here. It also means a perfect opportunity to hear some great music, eat great food, and enjoy some fine cocktails, all while helping animals at the same time.

For 15 years, the Florence Area Humane Society has hosted the annual Bone-E-Fit event in order to raise money for medical care for the shelter's animals.

Each year, the FAHS partners with local business and organizations to provide a night of fun, food, and drinks with the welfare of the shelter's animals as the primary focus.

As the FAHS states,

Our veterinary and medical expenses are substantial due to the horrific conditions of many of the animals who come in our doors from abused and neglected situations. Often, surgery is needed to restore the animal to a healthy life. Vaccines, medicine, food, and a nurturing environment are vital components of daily care. Financial donations are essential to our organization’s ability to carry out its mission every day and are tax deductible as allowed by law. Every gift helps and every donation matters as we work to save Every One.

Ultimately, the Florence Area Humane Society relies on the support and generosity of the community. This is why Micky Finn's is stepping up to the plate and donating financially to the FAHS as well as donating product and personnel to the FAHS in order to aid in the success of the Bone E Fit event.

In fact, Micky Finn's is donating all the liquor, beer, and wine that will be consumed at the event as well as products such as plates, napkins, and cups. From the ingredients in the cocktails to the cups holding them, Micky Finn's is doing whatever is necessary to ensure that the event is successful and profitable for the Florence Area Humane Society.

In addition to products and sponsorship, Micky Finn's employees will also be on site for the event helping out in a variety of ways from bartending, setting up tents and bars, as well as other vendor stations.

This year's event will be held on May 9 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm at Collins Grove, 2467 N Williston Rd. Florence, SC.
